I turned it off until I have time to sort out the difference variants. It only takes one or two people with cars that don't work to make giving away stuff not worth it.

Am I the only one who's had issues?

Can't figure out what it could possibly be. I've recoded both DSC and the entire car to the VO (made sure the option was still there). Sifted thru the DSC, KOMBI coding to try and find anything. Sifted thru and tried a bunch of things I found in CC and ACC retrofit threads. Recalibrated DSC a few different ways, calibrated steering angle sensor. Flashed the normal tune to make sure CC still works and it does (without even resetting adaptations). All the modules are on the latest firmware (ZB#).

I just don't have a clue where to look anymore.

I'm not sure, at least nobody else has mentioned it. I just assumed it was some wierd configuration thing we're not aware of yet.

Just flashed the maf-less tune on my brothers 09 328(6spd). Cruise control works for him. Not sure if its placebo but the car responded nicer after swapping the euro iat

Is any of the trans tunes on bimmerlabs for 6spd trans or only paddle and auto?

Why would you need a tune for a manual transmission?

The DME handles different transmissions with your VO and coding - there's no auto/manual engine tunes.

I removed the intake manifold today. Then I stared at the starter. The last guy replaced it about two years ago. Looks like a crappy rebuild. Ordered a new Bosch one on Amazon with delivery tomorrow. Couldn't leave it alone when it looked so easy now. Ugg another day to get er done. Hopefully I can get the DISA manifold in tomorrow.

Make sure the one on Amazon is an actual Bosch unit and not some Chinese garbage with a Bosch sticker. I bought some supposed Dorman thrust arms for my car and the bushings are super soft a few months after, definitely a knock off.

It came in a Bosch box with paperwork. Couldn't really see Bosch on the starter but I didn't look very hard. It nice and new and starts great. The last person there didn't even tighten up the bolts very well. Car is back together and running. Haven't had much time to drive it yet. I will report back. I do know my 98 M3 convertible is still faster or at least it feels that way. Now I need the GM trans files to finish things up. Maybe the no maf flash too. Thanks for all the help here.

This little bit may be what I needed to complete the tune. I hadn't copied the folders over and was getting a 'fatal error' when launching the bat file for the RSA delete. I should have known something was up when INPA didn't have any chassis codes to choose from...

Either way, thanks OP for the video, and Hass for making this all possible

EDIT: Yup, that did it. Was able to do the RSA and standard 330i tune sans-charger after a long trip yesterday. Well worth the time investment.

Process would be exactly the same. Does bimmerlabs have an N53 tune available?

Sometimes they don't depending on the car; They have Euro IAT and Performance tunes(MILV) for the N52 (E90/E87) but I'm hoping over time there is enough interest over time to make it for the E60 as well. could be a similar situation

They present a list of six stock tunes for my 325i. I'm not sure if that means that someone has uploaded their stock tunes, and if so, if that is for the 272hp 330i version or the 218hp 325i version. Anyone knows?

If you plugged in your car/vin then it would be for your car. Have a look at each of the tunes listed and see.

There should be a little description to go with each option

stock tunes are stock tunes. they are not modified and will not boost power - they are there in case you wanted to go back to stock.

I don't think I have posted anything for the N53, definitely not the N53 325i - I don't think you can take an N53B25 to 272hp from 218hp anyway.

If you enter your VIN and nothing shows up it means that there isn't anything available - it's all based on specific models because there are many, many variants of the same car/engine with subtle differences that are not compatible with each other.

In the European market, some early models 325i has the 2.5 liter version (and also 3 stage intake I believe), outputting around 215hp. Later models (and all e93s) got the detuned 3 liter version, N53B30, and 218hp. These are like 328i/330i in the American market and can be tuned to 272hp.

So stock tunes for n53B30 can actually be both 218hp and 272hp.

ah, yes that is of course possible. I don't have as deep of knowledge of the N53 since we never had it here.

Hello first post here. I am looking to apply the 3.0si engine and transmission tune to my car (2009 328xi N52N). I have lots of mechanical know how but very on how to code/flash anything.

Are these the files I want to do this?

Wow. Just attempting to get all of these piece to talk to each other has been super SUPER frustrating. I've got the tools installed, booted up, and winFKP keeps shutting down as soon as I open it. I'm currently attempting to update it via BMW Coding Tool but it won't let me set the home folder for WinFPK.

Here is the error
