Radio not working
Hi guys,
I have had a Pioneer in my 2011 E90 ED since a week after I bought the car and its been great. Just upgraded to a new Pioneer SPH EVO62DAB. Got the old stereo out and got the new one all connected. Turned on, all settings saved and sounds great. Put the stereo back in place and screwed everything. Went to test again and nothing no power. Took it all out again andput my old Pioneer in, same, no power. Checked the fuses in the glove box and that was OK. Put my original BMW stereo in and again no power, although volume button lights up orange and the one the other side, but no display. All the wires are undamaged. Would anyone have any idea? Thanks guys. |

Perhaps you drained the battery enough while working on it to trigger
the IBS which then cuts power to what it deems unnecessary loads to keep enough juice in the battery to start an run the car. In which case you would put a long slow charge on the battery. Check battery voltage first. Read first electrical pdf about IBS. electrical pdf https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...,d.cGU&cad=rja http://www.shrani.si/f/G/fL/2lp3YVG1...hicle-elet.pdf http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...85464276,d.cGU |
