Hard Wiring In a Road Angel

OK, so following 3 more points on my license, I need to be uber careful, so I've bought a road angel connected to help, and I want to hardwire it in. I see RA do a hardwire kit and I just wanted some ideas about the easiest place to wire it in. Obviously the 12v socket is a fairly straightforward one, but the cable is only 1.5m, and that may not be long enough to get under the dash, around the door pillar and back to the dash centre again.

Any ideas?

I've just hardwired my pogo alert in -
I used a piggy back fuse adapter and connected directly to the fusebox, I used the heated seat fuse which is a switchable 12v - think fuse number 29? if my memory serves me correctly -

I hadn't seen them either, I've just bought some off ebay, 5 for £10. How I wish these had been about a decade ago when I was messing about with modifying cars......

I got mine from co star, I actually got a female cigar socket with the fuse tap on the end, so I could just plug in the normal cable - although I can't see that on their site at the moment....

There's a metal bar in the fuse box with an hex key screw in it, I earthed it on that, will try and take a pic later
