Has anyone done a secondary cat delete with the stock exhaust and stock downpipes? If so, what are the pros and cons. I'm looking to get just a bit more sound on my stock car (with golf tee mod). I don't want to chop my mufflers or spend on catless downpipes. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

IDK how your emissions are but we don't have to test here in Michigain so Catless dp's are the way to go. Added just a bit more sound to the exhaust.

I am working on making a remote for the exhaust flap now but waiting on parts .
I'll post a vid if I get it working good.

Okay so I don't think will help much because I don't know what my car sounded like before since I just got it..but mine has high flow cats instead of the oem secondaries and I believe it sounds awesome!!! Not too loud but just a little more louder with a very nice downshift sounds ... previous owner put them on and I was lucky to find them

I just chopped mine off a couple weeks ago, sounds decent. Slight amount of rasp under light loud but it sounds great when you step on it.

I'll be replacing the straight pipes with resonators once I go fully catless

Anyone know where the fuse for the cigarette lighter or 12v socket under the passenger side is located?

Fuse box is behind the glove box, there's a door with 90* thumb locks. There should be a fuse diagram on a card behind the door.

I would say around 50ish if I had to guess.

Directly from Martial in the MHD thread:

- Stage 1 pack. 2 maps included Stage 1, Stage 1 + FMIC. Each with 4 octane variants (acn 91, 91, 93, 95), 340-385 hp
- Stage 2 pack. 2 maps included Stage 2, Stage 2 + FMIC. Each with 4 octane variants (acn 91, 91, 93, 95), 370-430 hp
- e40 map. 40% of ethanol, 440hp.

Those are conservative, cranck numbers. For instance the e40 map made 400whp on a stock car and would make more a a FBO car.

This thread has a post that goes into detail.

Thanks. Do you know if the MHD Stage 1 fmic map requires the installation of an after-market intercooler? Thanks again!

Launching the 335is

How bad is it for your car to use launch control. Someone told me the manual says the car can only be launched 3 times for the life of the car. Is this the case? Whats the likely hood of breaking something if your running 19 psi and using launchcontrol?

It's true... Only 3 times for the life of the car... And it can only be activated by a virgin.

Hi - quick question. I installed an E93 M3 front sway bar (with new, OE end links from BMW) last night on my 2011 335is and that install lowered the front end by about 1/2 inch (from what it was - stock). The M3 sway bar is the only modification to any part of the car's suspension. Has anyone experienced this? Car rides great after the install.

Thanks
