Runflat tires *AND* Slime??
So, the cautious consensus seems to be that you can repair runflat tires, so long as they haven't been driven on very far while flat.
I've seen the usage of Slime suggested for non-runflats without a spare. Now...maybe this is a crazy idea...what about using Slime to treat a punctured runflat tire, to minimize driving on it while flat, in order to increase the likelihood of a successful repair of the runflat tire? The main goal of all of this is cost saving. I know, I'm cheap. Flame me if you will, but do please address the question while you're at it. |
