Vorsteiner,

Any thoughts on a CSL rep similar to VS7's that are cast?

me too! If I were you Vorsteiner, I would closely read the hopes and expectations for final pricing mentioned in some of the previous posts...

On another note, what offsets/widths will you guys be offering these at?

thanks,
scott

They look great, but Im still holding out for a Morr VS7 cast rim (and priced accordingly), or someone like Vorsteiner to make one similar to it. I like the thicker spoke CSL reps, and really like the concavity of them.
yeah rays cast wheels are like $600 for 18's......I think....

How about we all guess on the final price and Vorsteiner will give the person with the best guess a small discount on a set!!

my preliminary guess on price for a staggered 19" set of four: $1799 shipped + tax

I LOVE the black wheels.

Yes, they are close to Neez and CSLs, but there are subtle differences. This is just a different take on this style of wheel. Look how the spokes loop instead of coming to an end. In real life this will be more pronounced than in pics.

SWEET!!!

They're cast so many more people will be able to afford them.

If BBS 19" cast wheels (Low-Pressure Cast) go for $500 a pop...Vorsteiner should be at or below this price.

The question is... are these wheels Gravity Cast or Low-Pressure Cast?

Gravity Cast should put pricing in the typical VMR/Miro range...as I assume they use the gravity casting process to save $$$ and not Low-Pressure casting which cost more (this is the process that BBS uses for their cast wheels).

Can anyone chime in??

Regards,
Price is not always about the technology put into the wheel, it is mostly based on what the market will bear. Theres cast wheels out there that sell for more than most 3 piece just because of how they are marketed. I am guessing these will not be low pressure cast but will not be as cheap as some wheels out there just because of the name. My guess is pricing close to Vossen, MSRP around 400 for 19" and 500 for 20" which I am sure will be discounted on here.

Vorsteiner did state that these indeed will be pressure cast.

Finally a cast replica that has a good spoke design, proper offsets, and some decent concavity.

I really might be between this replica and the vorsteiner. Depends on price and final products...
