So Nice.

Would be interesting to see the new M3 rims on both the sedan and the couple. 18" and the 19". I think I did that someone did try the 18" on the coupe but the offset did not work. |

RiXst3r, I am about to get these wheels thanks to you! What do you think of the general tires so for? Are they loud? What's the handling like in both wet and dry? I saw they have a long tread wear and were very reasonably priced.

Just had a set of staggered 19's from **********s put on my car earlier this week. I love them. They look so much better in person IMO than in the pics. Everyone who has seen them has commented how impressive they look. I have a black 335i Coupe and one of my co-workers commented that the car looks menacing now. He suggested I get a vanity plate that says "sith lord" on it. The guys at the local garage that mounted them were equally impressed and commented that they appeared to be of good quality.
My only complaint is that the M stickers look pretty lame and one already fell off. I went to the dealership to get a replacement and the sticker on the wheel is not the OEM sticker. I didn't realize that. The OEM sticker is a bit smaller and looks a lot nicer. I order a set of 4 OEM's from bavarian auto and am going to replace the replica stickers with the OEM sticker. |

Yes, M6 reps. The sticker is inset in the wheel and the OEM sticker is a bit smaller. I tried it at the dealership - the OEM sticker is a tad small for the sticker inset but it looked fine - better than the replica sticker IMO.

I just put in an order with Ron at **********s for the M6 reps with OEM TPMS, Eagle F1 GS-D3. They come with the BMW center caps and M stickers (I may get the stickers from form bavauto like McLoven, well see...) all mounted and balanced.
He said they now have a new mold of the rear M6 wheels that they specifically made for the e92 coupes in ET 33 so they no longer need to shave them down. He also said that since they use the OEM TPMS you don't need to do anything to get them to work; just mount your wheels and drive off. I should see them in a couple of weeks. I can't wait, I'm so stoked! Thanks again RiXst3r!!! Last edited by Tag; 09-15-2007 at 02:21 PM.. |

I also got the Eagle F-1's. I haven't really tested them as I would like to put a few hundred miles on them first to break them in but no complaints so far. They are night and day compared to the runflats and you can feel the difference right away.
There is a guy at work with a 335i coupe with the sport wheels and I parked next to him once this week. My car looked so much more aggressive than his - there was no comparison really. I showed a co-worker and she said the sport car looked wimpy compared to mine - I LMAO! I also got the et 33 rear but I think mine are shaved. Let us know what you think when you get them on. They look bad ass. Enjoy! |

Why didn't you want your fronts with the same offset? Do you want a staggered look or would it look good with the fronts also pushed out flush?

Here is a pic of my E92 with M6 reps. Rix3tr I have the same set up as you with the generals and 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 9.5 wheels. Has anybody done an HR sport spring set up with these wheels? I have a new set from Mod Bargains but it looks pretty close to me. I could go maybe half an in or so, but the full 1.1" in the F and 1.3" in the R would be too much I think. I am thinking of going with KW V2 coil overs, it looks like they give a .6" drop at high setting, which I think would work but still might require a fairly stiff setting to avoid rubbing. Anybody? Don/Mike

I don't believe the E92 could accommodate a 19x9.5 wheel et33 in the front (someone correct me if I am wrong). My fronts are 19x8.5, et35 and it sits pretty flush.

McLoven, is this the correct M Logo you ordered from bavauto?
Wheel Emblem - M Sport - 10mm x 18mm Part Number 36 11 2 228 660 I think I'm going to get these so I have nothing to worry about; sux they are $4.95 ea. |

Thats it. They are 9.95 at the dealership. Bavarian charges 5.95 to ship too which is ridiculous but better to pay $25 for the set shipped than $40 plus tax from the dealership.

I can always roll my fenders as well. All of this is on an E46 but the same principles apply. You might want to go with the coilovers because you have the height adjustability, which was very useful for me. I lowered the front more than I lowered the rear. |

First thing I'm going to do with the new wheels is put a coat of paint sealant to keep the brake dust from building up.

Is this available for CSL reps? That is what I have been waiting for. Won't do spacers, or fender rolling and don't want ANY rubbing. There have been rubbing issues on the E92, without lowering.

It doesn't look like it for the CSL wheels, but don't take my word on it. You should contact the guys at **********s.

Well I had posted that question earlier, with no response. It is the same offset as the M6 reps, so I am thinking it would be the same. it is a different wheel, but offset is offset.
