aFe Intake Installed and....

All i can say is WOW. After having realized a screw's thread was improperly drilled and reading about surging problems, I finally decided to pull the trigger and install it anyways. Installation was a slight headache but that was because I assembled it before it was inside the engine bay. (Follow directions guys!) Immediately before pulling out of my driveway A smile was on my face. The sound is AMAZING. The car even feels very slightly faster. Thats always an added bonus. Considering the one reason I got the intake was for the sound, I can 100% say that it exceeds those expectations and brings a smile to my face every time I drive. Good job aFe. Ill post a video soon

Congrats on getting the AFE. Now pair it up with a PE and I guarantee you'll never turn on your stereo again :-)

You'll be driving around looking for tunnels to blast through :-)

I'm really new so try to bear with me... I haven't picked up on the acronyms and was wondering what PE is? I am considering the afe stage II intake so I was curious what would go well with it.

PE= Performance Exhaust. Also on another note. My friend drives a '11 Tahoe and he said that when he heard my car coming he thought i had taken my moms tahoe (same car) instead of the BMW (:

So I ordered the afe stage II and a sprint booster until I decide what software to get. What PE systems do you guys recommend? Granted, it's going to be awhile before I pull that trigger.

PE= BMW Performance exhaust, it's an OEM exhaust from the dealer.

Im jealous.. Anyone know of an intake that will fit a diesel e92? Also looking purely for acoustic, I understand it won't affect performance.
