E90 F30 rear view mirror homelink frequency difference
Does the E90 and F30 have the same homelink frequency? If not can one retrofit the F30 mirror to the E90 and have it work? Thank all!

the us mirrors have same frequency, but homelink protocol was updates in 2008-2009 and f30 mirror will definitely support newer version

Mirrors
Will the f30 mirror work with the window mount and wiring in my E90? Will it need to be coded in? Thanks!

I bought a new Chamberlin and my 2011 335is homelink did not work so I had to buy a "bridge" and it only worked when I was 5 feet in front of the garage.
I was considering buying a newer homelink and trying to retro fit it as well but it's been a little while since I looked into it. Just wanted to share.

Anyone here have a 2013/2014 E70 or E71 and know for sure that mirrors from those MY will work with the newer HomeLink protocol? For that matter, does anyone else know if the F series mirrors will interface correctly with the E90? This is assuming that the E90 already has an auto-dim mirror. |

I know the E90 mirrors used to work with E46's, but wasn't sure if F30's were similarly compatible back to E90's fitment and connectivity-wise. |
