Auto night mode
Is there a way to code this? I’ve read a couple of old, dead threads that have no answers.

If you are talking about switching the CIC "colors" for night time, the answer is NO.
You can however program one of the touch buttons to make the switch. I did that but tend to leave the CIC set for night time. |

An amazing oversight by BMW.
A few extra lines of code is all that would cost. All of the sensors are in place to report the low light levels... or they could have keyed off gps time for even more accuracy. |

Definitely a big oversight. Not sure how they missed something so simple yet needed

They always disable functionality when it comes to the lower models. This works exactly as it should on the 5 series. No short cut button required.
