Having the same egr issue.
4CAE - egr position sensor signal error thrown.

Question is how the heck did you manage to get that black plastic cap off the EGR? I can only release the clip on one side, the other being rather inaccessible.

How did you manage to get the cover off? I've been trying for 2 days now and can't seem to make it come off, even though I pulled the 2 side clips to the sides.

if you have pulled the two side clips outs enough it will lever up.... i ended up cracking mine as i couldn't get to the rear clip....

other option is get some spray oil (thin) with a straw an poke that under the cover and spray away then drive around and check for codes after a day or two

Trying to get this cover off, how do you access the left side to unclip it? Feels like it will snap easily. Can just about get the right side off with trim pry tool but the left no idea how to access.
