Need spacer size confirmation new square wheels/tires
Currently on style 189, (8x18 front ET 34 / 8.5x18 rear ET 37)
Using 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers Fitment is great and I would like to keep the rear exactly like it is. The front MIGHT be able to come out just a bit. Going to a 18x9 ET 30 square. I haven't ordered tires yet but probably going 255/35. If im using the calculator correct, do I need no spacer up front .it would be 2mm more than what i run now with 9mm less clearance near the strut (on ST coil overs) , and a 7mm spacer in the rear, if its made? thanks.

18x9 squared is a good fit as long as you're non-x. I ran 18x9et30 in front on my pre-LCI E92 and inner clearance was about 1-2mm with my KW coilovers, there were some tire marks on the coilovers after 2k miles but I never noticed any rub. That was with 235/40 tires so you might need a tiny spacer here. The ST coilovers might be a little smaller than the KW version (same manufacturer), you will know right away when you try to put the wheel on!
For rear, with 255/35 tires you should be able to fit a 12mm spacer with just a little bit of camber, which you may already have if you're lowered. This will give a more flush look and will match the fronts better. I'm not too current on the spacer market, but I remember there being hub issues for spacers in the 7-11mm range, I would look into this.

in case anyone is searching.
I needed a 5mm spacer up front to let the tire clear the spring. Rear I was able to use a 15mm spacer after a mild roll to the rear of fender.

yes, if you see the reflection of my garage door line in the fender, there was a lot of rubbing there. Had to massage it out with a roller. Still getting the slightest of rubs on big bumps but ill try to roll it out more this weekend.

Looks like you can go a little bit farther with negative camber, my pre-LCI coupe went to -3d without needing a camber kit. Could always downsize to a 12mm spacer, not sure how that will look in comparison to the front fitment.

Thanks for the advise, went ahead and picked up a 12mm. I really dont want to mess with camber if I can get away with it. my tire wear is just slightly heavier on the inside.

update. 12mm spacer in and zero rubbing. this is with a minor pull to the rear fenders. can probably be done with the old phone book method.
