Yes.

Or trim it to accommodate the larger caliper.

In direction away from the hub.

It's not a lot of mm that is required, it's because the top of the disc won't be in contact with the pad and instead the bottom part of the pad wont be in contact with the disc, i wouldn't even say it was 2mm worth.

I actually didn't do this step and left it as it was and has been fine for 2 years.

Anyone know if the F10 18" alloys fit over the 370mm?

You can move the new middle in many directions yes, but you need to move it only in one, and is rather obvious which one!

I just feel like walking over to a machinist with the hub and caliper in hand, and say "make these holes bigger and away from hub, the direction should be obvious" might not be a great idea.

Anyone do this conversion in the Greater Toronto Area? Maybe someone who has done this before will know what to do

I'm confident that the machinist will figure it out in a heart bit, although this mode doesn't require removal of the hub. Besides, this has been discussed with photos and drawings as support. I suggest you to read the tread and take notes.

Just get your grinder out, measure several times with test fit and no need to send out for machining if you are patient and have some familiarity working with tools/your hands.

If You will make only Holes for m12 bolts, You will not use all brake pad surface. Only eccentric bushes solve problem 100%

Cool, and all, but this thread is about the 370mm fronts.

Incorrect. All of the brake pad surface will be used. I have replaced the pads 3 times already.

I have post plenty of photos over the years in addition to many others that have. You are welcome to search for them. Besides you said all of the brake pad won't be used which is absolutely incorrect. Having few millimeters unused area on the rotor is definitely diferent statement and is also acceptable. Nothing wrong with that. Bottom line is the brakes pads don't over hang.

Would you guys say this is good value or nah? I know it's 2x expensive than the original kit but if the quality and performance is there I'm ok with paying up. It's still far less expensive than BBS or Stoptech

I know how it looks like.
For me. it looks bad and sometimes rotor touches to A caliper. In my car must be perfectly inline. If You dont see The problem thats fine it is your car.

In the past 6 years I have done many of these and never had a caliper touch the rotor. Is great that you have affordable bushing option that works better. However my method discovered while back works just as well. Here is an example https://www.e90post.com/forums/showp...postcount=1350 I this is bad then I need optometrist.

How much are the accentric bushes? I haven't moved my caliper over but I might for the hassle of fitting them. I also haven't had any issues after over 2 years but would be nice to have a full disc contact.
