Gahh. Completely sold on the 17x9 ET30 with 255/40 tires. However, can't seem to decide between the Anthracite, Hyper Silver and Satin Black! Even after going through all 40 pages of this thread. If only this size came in the Matte Bronze.

They'll be going on my Black E91. I saw Ruddiger has this sizing in Anthacite on his wagon. Any other black E91 with these in either satin black or hyper silver?

Opinions also welcome!

Personally I'm not a huge fan of pure black wheels so my opinion would be to go the grey or silver route

I think hyper black would look best in 17" on a black E91. If 18" then I would say hyper silver.

I agree, black has been ruled out. I haven't considered the Hyper black. It does look good though. Can anyone explain how it looks in person. From photos it looks either silver or dark grey in different lighting. Narrowed it down to Anthracite or Hyper black if 17s.

The Hyper Black on this M3 looks amazing and got me thinking about 18s as well now.

This is how my Hyper Black 17x9et30 ARC-8 with 245 tires up front look with the sun hitting them. I have an e92 not an e91 tho. The look great on my e92, im sure they will look good as well in an e91.

Thanks for your example! The hyper black looks awesome. It was down to anthracite or hyper black but I like the premium look the hyper black has. Should look great with the the black body colour.

Well, unfortunately, I've decided to sell my car so I had to take some decent pics for the ad. Figured I'd share some pics to the thread.

'09 335i E90 lowered on H&R Sport springs:
Front: 18x9 ET30 ARC-8s with 235/40 Indy 500s and a 12mm spacer
Rear: 18x9.5 ET35 ARC-8s with 265/35 Indy 500s and a 5mm spacer

No spacers (though I debate about putting some in the back)
kickserve - Does your car have a Sport package suspension?

Thank you,

Expert@ApexRaceParts - Do you happen to know if the car shown above is on an aftermarket suspension?

Thank you,

Hey Chris,

That car features Bilstein B12 suspension with M3 control arms and a front anti-roll bar

Wondering if anyone has images of 265/35 on 18x9 ET30 on an LCI E90/91?
According to willtheyfit.com the specs should be identical to Tommy R's. I'd prefer a square setup with as much meat as possible. From images I found the 255/35 looks small on 9's. I'm on stock suspension and don't mind rolling/pulling to make these fit when I eventually lower.

Apex ARC-8 17x9et30 with 5mm spacers on all 4 corners. Michelin pilot super sport 245/45R17 (fronts) & Hankook Ventus RS4 255/40R17 (rear). I had already posted pictures of the car in this thread, but here's an update with different rear tires and M-Sport bumper. Plus the ARC-8s look awesome in this picture
