Exhaust Options for Upgraded Turbo
Hey all, I'm upgrading my turbo's to the PS2 for my f30,
I have Full bolt ons already, FMIC, Cold air, Catless DP. but I'm running a full straight pipe no ress no muffler, and personally I love the sound and don't get tired of it, and would love more But I was wondering would getting a axle back or cat back help with power gains? since I'm getting a dyno tune, and would it sound any close to a straight pipe if I have to get a muffler Thanks for the replies in advance. |

If you are straight piped already you will probably lose hp by adding restrictions back in. If you get a muffler it will significantly reduce the loudness of the exhaust.

Oh interesting then, I figured a custom exhaust would be better than a straight pipe and possibly add a few more gains when tune. I honestly love it and never get tired of it and hoping to get it a bit louder haha.
