Buying a 3 Stage Manifold with DISA Valves from Ebay or Benzeen auto parts online?
I am planning to buy a 3 stage Manifold for my 328i. It already has the bimmerlabs tune and all it needs is the manifold. I am only worried about the DISA valves and rebuilding it or buying a new one. I am looking at Benzeen auto parts store who sell parts online with 1 year warranty and free shipping.
Do I have to rebuild it or what are the steps? If it comes with a DISA valves from 2011, is there no need to rebuild or replace? Help Much appreciated! Trying to keep it in a budget under $400. Not trying to buy additional DISA valves with my manifold! Choices are from: https://www.benzeenautoparts.com/use...anifold/559230 https://www.benzeenautoparts.com/use...anifold/826275 https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-THREE-3...ba99%7Ciid%3A1 |

I am also looking for where to buy good both Disa valves as I already have manifold itself. Original BMW Disa valve price is way too high (around 370eur for one Disa)...
So there are some on aliexpress (price from 45euro to 75euro) 7579114: https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale...chText=7579114 7560538: https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale...=7560538+valve Also autodoc (price from 70euro and up): 7579114: https://www.autodoc.lt/search?keyword=7579114 7560538: https://www.autodoc.lt/search?keyword=7560538 There are a lots of options. So my question is which is best bang for your buck? (Good quality for reasonable price) Any one bought any of these? Best to search for used ones? Used ones usually has cracked/pealed rubber seal around flap... |

Aftermarket Disas even come with metal hinge, through entire flap: Not sure if OEM have this metal hinge too, I think they have only plastic at the ends? Well prices for both OEM Disas is 740eur which is way too much... Last edited by Hotter; 04-04-2021 at 09:48 AM.. |

It looks like you are right since many people said they are from China and break easily. It is expensive though to get oem from fcp euro! What about rebuilding them with the kits online?

If you rebuild, be really careful when splitting the valves that you don't scratch or gouge the circuit board.

I'd take used OEM disa valves over Chinese aftermarket any day.
I know several people who've had the Chinese ones break within days of installing them (or just not work at all). Meanwhile, my original valves in my 330i are still working fine. When I 3 stage swapped our E91 I got a used manifold with good disas for $150. Worked just fine until I sold it. If you get the eBay manifold, you can test the DISA valves before you put them in the car, and return them if they don't work. If they do work and are in good shape (not torn seals or full of oil), they'll likely continue to work just fine. |
