Junction box replacement

I am in the process of repairing my slightly wrecked 2006 BMW 330 I but before I start bolting on panels and headlights I want to fix a problem that I’ve been having with my dashboard, fuel gauge, turn signals, windshield wipers.

All Common symptoms of a bad junction box AKA JBE But my problem is that I try to replace it with one and it did not fix the issue I’m not sure if it was because it was the incorrect model but now I’m going to give it another shot.

Does anybody have any knowledge about these junction boxes and if the serial numbers need to match up or just build date numbers From a similar year donor car.

I have acquired a replacement bumper, a headlight, Fender. Besides that the car just needs an alignment but my issue is they getting the JBE to work correctly
