Ran rough this morning for 5mins. Whacked her in manual mode and gunned it. She's stable now. I'm thinking bad fuel cos my lil bro put Morrison E5 in it. I've filled her up with shell Vpower. A scan this evening showed a misfire in cylinders 1 & 2 this morning. Looks like it's a set of new injectors calling

I think that I'd wait on new injectors, the better gas may eliminate the problem. Why throw parts at it if it's not needed?

Drove it for the last time on stock turbos.

Starting to rip it apart today to put on the speedtech top mount with a VSRacing 6766 JB, phoenix racing PI manifold with 550cc injectors, & a motiv reflex lite PI controller.

& do some new coolant lines & oil pan gasket

I'm thinking this as well cos my old E90 did this and better gas mileage solved it. I gunned her in the back roads like I did this one today. She needs a good run to eliminate the possibility of carbon build up causing the judder - I could be wrong. Been doing lots of city driving lately. Took her out again tonight, whacked it in manual and let it shift by itself at high RPMs. A white 335i in front couldn't bear the thought of me passing him by and of course, it left me behind

Exactly. I'd also throw a bottle of Techron in it as well.

Some say it's snake oil, but its kept my index 7s running for 143K miles!

Pained and replaced both rear brake calipers, bled all four corners and re-ran the DSC adjustment procedure. Simple job! AutoZone has mad fast delivery on calipers. I got mine the next day.

Maybe, just maybe fixed. I checked two hardware and one autoparts store for O rings. Found some that were almost there, but visibly just a little small. Decided to try on and see if it works. Well, initial observation under no pressure other than system venting procedure is that we have a seal! Ran out of time today, so will run it with the engine on tomorrow and hope for the best! Also swapped out the short plug for the long plug on the aftercooler/passenger/exhaust side, and that seems to have fixed that problem as well!

Fingers crossed this works. The rest of the process was a pretty fun one I kinda' enjoyed!

Let me know if it seals and where you got it please!
I need it for mine too.
My o ring just randomly leaked though. Didn’t move it and saw it the other day.
It’s not bad, but it’s made a mess in the area.

So far, so good! No leaks from radiator, and I don't think the heater line is leaking! Going to drive to work tomorrow and hope I can return home under my own power!!!

Started making the car ugly in preparation for it sitting in an unprotected lot in Denver waiting to get fixed. Which is soon. All valuables are out of the car. Just need to finish taking off the rear diffuser and sideskirt extensions.

Exterior things I've done today:
Stock mirror caps
Stock outer tail lights
Working on a quick connect for the diffuser brake light - for whatever reason the pins arent going into their female counterparts

Completed my bluetooth and USB retrofit (MULF2 high) I did it in a bit of an unorthodox way. I sacrificed my CD changer and installed it where it used to sit. Used the MOST and power supply from the CD. Had a few issues getting the AUX to function again after. Turns out the AUX wiring has to be changed from the headunit and now runs from the MULF2. All good now though!

Yesterday i put in my stage 3 bucketless dual walbro 450 pump & wired up the hobbs switch, installed and wired up my reflex lite, and put my phoenix racing manifold together.

Dont have much time to mess with the car today so just going to heat wrap the downpipe & wastegate dump tube

Also little pic of the new goodies. Got sent a reverse flow turbo (one in pic) on accident. Waiting for the correct normal flow one before i take too much of the car apart.

I flashed my dme with MHD stage 1. Went for a short drive to see if it felt much different. I noticed a little difference pulling away from stop signs and the odd quick little goose while heading for the highway. I thought this should be alright until I can get my new downpipes installed and try stage 2. Anyway, I turned left from the lights on to the highway and jumped on the gas to see what it really felt like. It was good until about 6000rpm in third and then my dash lit up like a bloody christmas tree and the engine fell on its face, straight into limp mode with no throttle response. I coasted to the side of the road and checked codes... got the dreaded 30BB! internal fault in DME. I managed to limp the car home and pull the DME out. Yup, it has an internal fault, fried mosfets. New mosfets on order. They should be here Monday or Tuesday.

Changed the oil with Liqui Moly and Mann filter. 2000 miles in 18 months, not bad. Sending it off to Blackstone for analysis.

I bought the kit ($72 this year, $63 last year) again from FCP Euro. I was planning on returning the oil under their lifetime warranty, but I feel cheap doing so. How do they stay in business doing this?

Serviced with manufacturers recommended oil, cleaned the MAF and took her for a run. She sounds different and responds quicker. Almost as if the former owner put thicker oil in it. Also got the dash lights changed to ice white
