the BEST and easiest way to compare the restrictiveness of the intake is to measure the vacuum creates inside the intake pipes for DCI CAI etcc on the same car (same boost)

It is quite simple, only needs to tap a boost gauge with negative scala on the intake pipe, lets say where the recirculating of DV goes.

I can't test it because i don't wave the DCI or CAI.

Could someone do this simple test and reprot on the mesures?

Less vacuum means of course less restrictive

Based on this review, I do believe I will be purchasing this CAI. I'm wondering if anyone has performed any insulation modifications to the piping.

More specifically, I'm planning on first wrapping the main Y-pipe with foam or cork insulation wrap/tape. Then I want to wrap that in reflective silver tape to create a nice heat barrier. I think it would make a noticeable difference in IATs.

Make sure to get the forged DV's if you go with this CAI. Otherwise with stock piping it's a really tight fit.

I eclipsor, it is a great product and I am very pleased with it thus far. I have increased my horsepower (delta) over 150 rwhp with this intake, so it definitely supports power and it keeps things cooler.
