Pedal positions

Anyone else find the position of their pedals annoying?

All pedals are offset too far to the right; the dead pedal is where I want the clutch pedal to be, etc.

Also, and maybe this is just my car, the clutch pedal sits higher than the brake pedal. There is maybe 20mm of free stroke before the slave engages with the release bearing (can feel slight vibration when it does). Anyone else got that? Do I need a new master cylinder, since its position and the position of the pivots etc are not adjustable?

The net result is that my feet feel too far to the right, and I sit too close to the clutch pedal when not pressing it, or too far from all pedals if I make myself comfortable when not pressing the clutch. It doesn't ruin the car for me, but it sure is annoying that there's nothing I can adjust to make it better.

If replacement OE parts won't help anything, does anyone have any experience with aftermarket pedals or pedal box to help the situation?

Thanks...

I think it's something you just have to learn to live with. Made worse by the conversion to right hand drive for the UK market. I've not had your clutch issues, though I did recently replace the pivot bearing as the pedal had a lot of side-to-side movement.

Hmm, maybe I should convert to auto...one less thing to worry about!
