Are the dynamic lights behaving properly?

Which one is the AHL module? The box circled in green or red?

That silver part circled in red is your headlight ballast. The green circle is a cover that gives access to the control unit.

Are these the new headlights or your old ones?

These are the old ones, but they're the same as the newer ones.

There is a chance that your new ones got the control unit wet or hit a big bump and caused the error. I'd take the bumper off and try connecting your old ones and see if the errors go away.

Then see if you can pull the ADH module from your old ones and make the warning lights go away on the new ones.

I think I foudn the culprit. I was so focused on the errors that I never inspected the headlights themselves close enough. The first pic is when I took it out of the box, the second is after I installed and it went through the calibration (I assume).

To me, that looks like the light has separated from the housing. Right?

I've reinstalled the old ones and all errors are gone. Could the separation in the pic above just be because it was pointed all the way to the right? That is, they're not separated from the housing?

Yes the projector is aimed all the way to the side I believe. It could be it has jumped off the motor bracket from a large bump. Only way really to know is to pop them open... but that would make sense... when the car sends power the lights do their dance to make sure they freely move in all directions properly. When it doesn't do that you get errors.

You bought those off someone here? Did they disclose that there might be an issue?
