Contact Philippe Khan @ South Bay BMW. He is fantastic to deal with and does not play games.

Garage List
the first deal on sedan ( I assume it's sedan, 'cause the other one you mentioned coupe) is not bad, if I read it correct and it is $540/month. Not bad at all for the features it has.

IMO the first deal sounds awesome! I've never seen anybody getting such a low payment.

I picked up an 08 e90 y'day. I was looking at the following two cars:
(1) Jet blk, premium, navigation, comfort access, ipod/usb, sat radio, auto - $1597 down (included 1st month payment, $550 sec dep, doc and license fees) - $538/month
(2) Jet blk, premium, sports, comfort access, ipod/usb, sat radio, auto - $1585 (same as above) - $525/month

I went with option 1 and had the dealer install tint which brought my monthly payment up to $545/month (thins includes our 3% tax)

I understand you are looking in the west coast. I got this deal in NC. Keep trying, you should be able to negotiate better

You can do better

Picking up my lease tomorrow - 08 white 335i 4dr w/ auto, sports, prem, cold pkgs exactly. 0 down and $529/mo for 36 mo. 10k/yr and INCLUDES $725 acquisition and 7% tax. Security waived. All dealers I went to will offer the base MF=.00085 and almost all did not mark up the $725 acq fee. Doc fee varies and I got lucky at $45. Most others quoted $150+

Get a car w/ auto transmission due to factory to dealer rebate of ~$1260. This effectively gives you a higher residual w/o adding to cap cost. Aim for a selling price of (invoice - $1260 if you have auto + $100 profit). My car's selling is $42605 and msrp of $47000. My dealer had $300 MACO (some have less others have none but this is legit part of invoice price) and my car was mfg'd after 1H08 which got hit by BMW's price increase. If you can find a car w/o the price increase then get a couple more options.

I dont know why anyone would pay $500+ for a 2008 car... Its an OLD model, get the 2009 with all the new stuff.

I was able to get Pacific Bmw in glendale to drop their 335i COUPE with sports pkg, auto, and ipod... to $500 with $1500 down.

I would pay $420 for a 2008 sedan with nothing over $1500.

I doubt that lease rates for the 09 would be as cheap as the outgoing 08's.

Neither do I.... I'm not saying expect to pay $400 for an 09 335 sedan. But around $400 is doable for a 08 sedan.

$540 for an 09 sedan with some down is decent. That is what I paid in 07 when the 335's had come out. With dealers you have to Low ball them and put on a show. Go with info and numbers you can find on this forum, like residuals and MF's etc.
