Yo guys, I dont wanna throw a wrench into the works or anything but I thought I'd see if youre interested in meeting up with the Madison convoy on your way up. As of right now we have 6 people and I thought it would be cool if you guys came through and we joined up and continued on.

We are meeting in the Home Depot (Map of meeting location) parking lot at 1030 and will be leaving with whomever is there at 1045. If you guys were to swing by you would go south on 90 from 94 and then take the 12/14 exit witch is the next one. Then you would go a couple miles to the home depot. After that, our plan was to take the continue on 12 and take the back roads up to the dells from there. (route were taking)

If that seems like too much of a hassle, dont worry about it. Just thought Id ask.

Ooh boy! Convoys are sweet! I am up for it for as long as people keep it civil! I've seen convoys go rotten very quickly...

In one of my many trips to Englishtown NJ for Waterfest, I was part of a 23 car convoy. We were ALL pulled over by just 2 cop cars and ALL 23 of us got tickets because of two stupid punks!

This is a very good plan... One thing for convoy is the fuel problem.. every cars has different MPG. not going to be able to control that. lol. I guess the 328 guys will just have to follow 335i or m3 to the pit stop.

If you can't make it from Chicago to the Dells on a tank of gas you're not driving properly. I've done it in a Jeep Commander with the V8 that gets 17-18 mpg hwy and didn't need to stop for gas. It's only like 200 miles one way.

Here is the northern route with stops in Waukesha (at what looks like a park and ride?), the Home Depot in Madison and Prairie du Sac. To maintain the schedule, you should be leaving the Lake Forest Oasis by 8:30am and those in Waukesha should be ready to leave the location there by 9:30am. You'll be meeting in Madison and leaving there by 11am.

Here would be the Southern Suburb route meeting at the Streets of Woodfield in Schaumburg and then meeting up with the other caravan in Madison. To be able to meet the Madison group on time you'd want to leave Schaumburg no later than 8:30am and you'll also be meeting in Madison and leaving there by 11am.

No, what we do is we all storm the same gas station! Its a lot of fun to see the faces of the gas station operators when all pumps are taken by BMWs.. LOL

If you Chi-town boys meet up with the Madison convoy, believe me, the way we are taking...you really don't want to get pulled over by County Sheriffs, small town local cops, or state troopers. All of which love to set up speed traps (stupid state of WI for making that legal!).

So unless you want a nasty ticket, we'll have to keep it civil. Also, 15-25 BMW's is not exactly travelling incognito.
