It was great meeting everyone today. Now I need to clean the car again. I will also check on getting a BMW section for the next Arthritis car show. Here are some links to the show from the Honda S2000 club. We had our own section and we should be able to do this for BMW. It is in July. I will look for sponsorship and we need at least 10 cars to do this. This show is top notch and has about 1200 cars on display.
This is full of Honda, but you get the idea if we did it as BMW: http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=505392 http://www.arthritisautoshow.com/index.php |

Nobody mentioned anything about a parking garage. Information like that could sway the voting public.
Glad some people still showed. Next time keep the clouds away. I saw red on the weather channel map and I didn't want to chance trying to drive through a car accident or something. At least I predicted the gray photography correctly. |

RiXst3r, something about your coupe is hawt. It just flows with the kit and the M6 reps. I like it.

Yea I did actually just didn't really think anything of it. I thought about removing mine but then I'll have to do something with the holes cuz I'm anal like that. I'll prolly just request the next car to not get drilled. The front plates don't look that horrible, there at least liveable.

I'll add a few photos to the thread.
Great meeting you guys - there have been 2 in Columbus, so it's time to do one in Dayton! We may have lost one after we left the rained out preliminary location at Polaris, but once we got to the parking garage at Easton, we had seven cars. Of course the titanium silver 330i stole the show! I do have to admit, the red leather seats looked fantastic...especially on the grey 335i coupe, which was particularly surprising as I normally don't care for the grey color all that much. Let's do it again soon guys! |

It was a game-time decision. I was hoping the rain would let off a little bit but It's Ohio, what can you do? It was nice to meet all the new faces this time and see some back from the April meet. My pictures didn't really turn out all that well, most were blurry or washed out. I'll post some of the better ones when I get a chance, I'm glad to see some people with some real photography skills showed up 8) Have a nice week all! -BMW2006 |

Sorry I couldn't make it fellas...Was planning on driving up from Cinci...but the weather looked like crap and after paying someone to detail my car saturday, I just couldn't bring myself to drive it in the rain. However...it's raining here now and I had to drive to work this morning so in actuality it made no difference...I should have rolled up there.
All the cars look sweet...great pics.

Corky and Lenny's is good but if your looking for corned beef then I know a waaaay better place. If that's what you prefer though then I'd still be down with it.

The sportsman or Slymans. I grew up in Pepper Pike so we were at C&L all the time. There isn't a good deli in Columbus! They don't even know what a chocolate phosphate is here.

I wasn't even thinking either of those places. Slymans is good but too salty and I've only had sportsman once and honestly don't remember. My favorite is Joe's Deli in Rocky River on Hillard Rd., to me the are hands down the best. They are my comparison and off the several known Cleveland places, my tastebuds give them the win

It was nice briefly meeting (very briefly) the guys who showed up yesterday. I bailed pretty soon after the rain started to pick up at Polaris. On the way up there I thought the weather would hold out, but no such luck. We'll have to do it again sometime and I'll stay for more than 15 mins haha.
If we do plan another meet in Columbus, we should meet at a covered place even if the weather looks good. I vote for the City Center parking garage downtown. City Center is pretty much dead so the garage is almost empty 24-7 and parking is a dollar. Just a thought... |

I say stick with Easton and use one of the garages less populated like the Macy's one, plus it's free. That sure beats the $1 while standing there with empty pockets and no car
