Thanks for the vote of confidence Chris, I hope you're keeping well.

I actually had an enquiry yesterday from the chap who bought the Golf! Small world isn't it?

This keeps drawing me in, my next car will probably be an e92 in white with red leather etc, and i do miss not having a real quick car, but the wife would be doing 3 mile trips to her mums in it and would kill it for what it is, plus im waiting till my boy can get in a car on his own as lifting a baby in the back of a coupe would be a back breaker

Beatiful done car btw complete package for anyone wanting a quick 335i, surprised this has not been snapped up

Hi Michael,

Apologies mate it's been a weird week. I'm afraid the car did actually sell with modifications (including the intercooler unfortunately) today.

I had meant to call you but I've been in and out of London and have been sorting out the sale tonight.

Thanks for your interest mate.

Hi Omar, I'll be posting up a reveal fairly shortly, but it's something luxurious and more powerful, so hopefully you guys will be content that I am keeping the petrolhead dream alive.

The chap who bought it was not from the forum in the end mate although I did refer him here. He may pop on I guess!

A quick note of apology to both of you (Omar and Rudz) and to Michael (MERLIC335.) I believe all three of you made the most genuine offers for parts and I know that you would have seen to your end of the bargain. Apologies that in the end I could not arrange to get you the bits and pieces you wanted.

There were also other fleeting offers for parts, and I apologise that those people will also be dissapointed - sorry I can't PM you all individually.

Otherwise as a bit of a side note, I was really dissapointed with the offers I had from some members on this forum. One or two people were genuine which led to one viewing and one serious enquiry (you two probably know who are) but by the end I was pretty fucked off with the amount of timewasters I had.

All I can say this is - if you plan to sell your car in this community, don't price it attractively to do anyone a favour. My car was £2-3,000 cheaper than equivalent cars, but I still had people haggling for every penny. I bet if I had advertised it at £17,500, It would have gone for close to £17,000. As it happens, all I achieved by listing it at £16,000 firm was attract a shitload of stupid offers!

Anyway onwards and upwards. I hope the new owner loves the car - I will certainly miss it.

Rgds

Yup, shame on those who time wasted.. Sometimes in life when you spot a bargain.. Don't waste time to haggle. You snooze you loose. If i was in the market i would offer full asking price, just like i did with the suspension. You gave me a good price, i reply i give you full aaking price.
