(Review) Just installed V3 rev.II and BMS DCI
The rev. II came with the doomsday stg. 1 map preloaded. I don't know which version of the map came installed, maybe 1-05 (maybe someone can chime in on this)? I did not have a laptop to hook up but I did install the serial-USB cable so I can upload the new maps as soon as I get a chance.
Customer Service: Customer support was great from Shiv with a timely delivery and from Mike with the DCI. Mike was very quick and courteous when responding to emails and went above and beyond when responding to my questions and concerns. Performance: I just installed V3 rev. II tonight and the BMS DCI. All I can say is WOW! The power was instant! The tune and the intake is the only thing I have done to the car, everything else is stock. Right out of the driveway (60 F), the car felt immediately different. I drove it around 2K rpm for about 10 minutes then got on a remote stretch of road to do some pulls to let the car adapt. Pull after pull, the car become more responsive. For the first time, I could hear the turbos spool and the engine open up! The turbo sound was like night and day. Before, the baby snails were so quiet but now they purr like a tiger. I can't wait until tomorrow when the car will have some more time on the road to adapt further. I will post my stock dyno results on Wednesday so stay posted. The V3 rev.II dyno numbers will be posted in two weeks when I get back from out of town. Conclusion: For ~1K, my car has been transformed into a wild animal. The modification done were worth every penny and a great group of guys had my back the entire time. I can't wait to load the non DD maps! Props to Kyle and Houston MW for the installation. - Paul

Glad to hear your liking the tune. The map that came preloaded on your PROcede should be written on the accompanying documentation. It's one of the 1-05 maps that can be downloaded from here. When/if you feel like it, give the new beta maps a shot. They improve fuel economy by more than 10% and improve off-boost torque/engine response. If you want to get on the beta map mailing list, just email me at shiv@vishnutuning.com. We should have new ones going out tomorrow night Cheers, shiv |

I will install the new beta maps and post my thoughts. Shiv, I should be on the list. I sent an email about 2 days ago.

I go to FWD Performance in North Houston. They use a dyno that results in numbers about 4-5% below what you would find on a DynoJet. From what I could tell, the numbers were spot on...exactly what I expected from a stock 335i. Send me a PM if you want to go. I'm going either the 1st or 2nd week of Feb.
On another note: Anyone noticing the oil temps running a little higher with a tune and DCI? With the stock oil cooler, I am registering about 250 when before I would be around 205.
