Im thinking of changing the injectors and having someone code them. My old ones are index 6 and new are 12, should I be driving with it like that?
I will be going about 5 miles. The injectors came with a part, it looks like a ring with prongs. Is that the coupling? Thanks. |

Any suggestions on how to eliminate either injectors or mosfet (in the DME) as the cause for piss poor running?
Car is running on about 3 cylinders and barely idles, smells like gas too. I changed the plugs and coils, no improvement... Also if new injectors are needed, any places selling new ones (not the rebuilt rockauto) for less than $240 or so? BTW, I read the entire 23 page thread...good information here. Lots of folks that know what they are doing, and then there's people like me |

You'll need to run Windows with VMWare or VirtualBox on your Mac in order to do this.

Boot camp works as well, but makes it a PITA to install Windows.

I had some issues a couple months ago when installing the index 12 injectors but was able to resolve it. I don't remember what the issue was. I have W7 64 bit.

Also, check the advanced settings for the com port used . Set them to the attachment. I wasn't able to recheck the connection tonight but remembered I messed with the USB settings the night I encountered issues losing connectivity. Hopefully this works for everyone.

I ended using Parallels with windows 7; and, that worked just fine. I was on a trial version, but it's since expired. When I need INPA again, I'll activate Parallels again and potential try with windows 10..

Thank you vasillalov.
FWIW: When I set the latency setting to 4 milliseconds, my connection was much better and I did not get any errors. 1 millisecond did not work for me at all, 16ms (the default) was error prone. Obviously YMMV. I am running Windows XP with SP3, 32 bit on an old laptop.
