Wheel & tyre sizes for E91
So im toying with the idea of changing the wheels on my 2010 E91 330d Msport.
I'm looking for something along the lines of these: https://********.com/product/19-stro...-alloy-wheels/ Not necessarily these exact ones but this style. Im going for the look of this car that was recently in the clasaifieds: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1753312 I have messaged the op about the wheels but no reply. Anyway, it appears that with all the wheels on ******** there are different specifications for each one. Now I know very little about wheel sizings and specs, so my questions are: What is the standard specs for 19" wheels that will fit straight on to a E91 LCI with standard Msport suspension, and what size tyres would be needed for said wheels? Also would I need to replace the wheel nuts/studs? When I bought my car it had 18" Team Dynamics Jade R's on and I remember the previous owner saying that when he put these wheels on he needed different wheel nuts to what were used for the standard MV3's. Thanks in advance, Nick |

Not sure what all the ***** are for but the wheels I have been looking at are the CSL / 359 style wheels from cm wheels.com. They seem to do a number of wheels in this sort of style.

19x9 et31, 19x10 et38 thats the one that car was running. Lower offset = sticks out more therefore more likely to rub the arches.
Rear tyres 265/30/19 i would say fronts would be something like 245/35/19 |

Yep thats the sizes that are ok on the E91 lci. I heard back from the guy who had the E91 in the classifieds,
plus I've been doing a bit of research and emailed a few companies. I believe the problem with the E91 lci is that the rear track is 8mm wider on each side compared with the rest of the E9x range and indeed the pre-lci E91. Therefore care has to be taken when chosing aftermarket wheels. All thats left now is for me to set about talking myself in to parting with a substantial amount of cash for a new set of wheels and tyres! |
