I guess so!

Hell, I bought a fully loaded hardtop convertible from them- that should count for something!

That would have been a lot more useful to me, I just got mine back from getting the bolts swapped out and they gave me a goodie bag with wash shampoo, leather conditioner, interior detailer, and a couple other cleaning things of which I have no use for...I have boxes full of detailing supplies.

31k miles, no bolts were broken.

BMW had my car for 2 days, I got a 428 xdrive as a loaner, not a bad car, had heads up display and the 4 cylinder is pretty peppy, hated the stupid efficency drive, that kept cutting the car off at a stop. Also I like the e9x interior layout better but the 4 series is bigger than the e92

Upon picking my car up, It was detailed, as well as had boxes inside of free bmw gifts!

The efficiency crap can be turned off. I'm pissed at my dealership. No gifts at all. No call back. No loyalty.

Had a surprisingly good experience while bringing the car in for the recall. In addition to the VANOS work - With 2 weeks left on the car's original warranty / maintenance they replaced the HPFP because I complained of long cranks, front pads and rotors due to vibration and the driver's side door lock mechanism, which was sometimes not actually unlocking. (glad I took a video on my phone) Picking up the car this evening because they had to order the door lock. Definitely bringing my SA a bottle of wine.

Just had mine done by Wagner BMW this week - car only has 24K miles and bolts were fine. Car was ready in a day - they threw in a coffee mug and the air freshener starter kit.

There were a couple of times wherein I wondered if I was being told the truth regarding a mechanical issue or two, but other than that, they've been very good to me. They always get me a loaner, and they've done some gratis work on a couple of problems. They also installed the Stage 2 PPK in my car despite it being non-sport, which was huge.

That being said, I'm only loyal so long as I'm not being screwed. I'd love to hear some of the horror stories.

Brought my car in Friday morning for the vanos recall, oil change and rattling pennies sound....got two calls so far. One on Friday letting me know that they need the car longer and apologize for it taking so long. Got a second call yesterday stating that they are waiting for a specific person to do the vanos and don't believe any of the bolts are broken based on the way the car is driving. Should have it done Monday and they apologized again for it taking so long. This is at Classic BMW in Plano if anyone was wondering. So far have been good to me even though they keep denying me new wastegates which are pretty obvious need to be replaced. Will update when car is returned.

Got mine done the other day. Dealership took three days. They did not seat the gasket correctly and during their test drive they noticed a leak. Got the car home, slapped on my jb4 and chargepipe. Everything seems okay.

Edit: Also got a BMW hat and a starter kit for their air fresheners.

Dropped mine off on Monday at 8, still don't have my car back. Worse: no courtesy cars so they gave me a Jetta SE piece of shit from enterprise.

I am also have the wire recall done, warranty work on leaking wiper fluid, build in trunk that works randomly in the cold, break fluid and hopefully my breaks done. My rear breaks are at 2900 miles left, front at 6000. Asked them to do them now, my warranty and maintenance ends on 12/31. i really hope they do not give me shit about doing them early.

Asked about my spark plugs, I'm at 42k miles, but he said only when the systems says to do it, not before.

Took my car in and had no bolts broken. Got my car back with grease all over the steering wheel and a nice 2 inch scratch on the passenger quarterpanel

And no damn gifts.

Just had mine done yesterday, as well as an oil change, and brake fluid flush. The whole thing took roughly 6 hours.

They said the existing bolts were fine.....but I swear the car runs better after the swap.

Got a new 435i M Sport as a loaner but honestly didn't care for it. The build quality seems cheap inside, lots of plastic, electric steering is gross, and it just felt much bigger than my E90 M Sport. Visibility was poor I felt also.

Free gift with the recall was nice. Got my rotors and pads replaced for free since I reported vibration during braking above 60 mph... Car runs much smoother
