You obviously don't get him. Where he lives there's a huge tax on that car and so it was way cheaper to covert a 325 than to buy an M3.

I could Sell my 320D E90 here in Norway, go to the us an buy a E92 M3 for more or less the same price... I ran the numbers a while back and it would probably cost 3-4 Million NOK to own and keep an M3 in Norway (including taxes and all) That would translate to +- 487K USD. Now you go figure

OP is right. In some countrys such as mine, a regular 325 sedan would cost 21000$ but an e90 m3 would cost well above 58000$ due to taxes and several fees. and the m3 body conversion would cost with paint around 4k$
Imo 335 with m3 bodykit/tune/bov/porscha big brakes is the best thing that can happen for e90/e92, the reason why im seriously considering a conversion.
