How do you like stage 1? It's supposed to be an improved version of the Alpina flash.

+1 on this...I had stage 2 and it was barely noticeable. Stage 3 is still very mild unless you put it in sport or shift manually...

The only thing i noticed on Stage1 D mode is that it shifts to 6th gear really quick. I just finished fixing my tcu and had all my seals and trans oil and filter changed, so i thought this would be a good time to do xhp and have a backup of my tcu. Thanks for your help and support.

Ok guys i just did the Stage2 flash and i like it better then stage1. I know you you guys said just go to stage3 but i want to see how all the stages go. But you guys are probably right about going to stage3lol.
Xhp gave me options to choose a change log. Why? and should i have select it all. I picked the V1.5 because it was last on the list. I thought maybe its the latest update for this stage2

Is it a noticeable difference? What is the overall gain from Xhp

Change log is just a list/log of changes made to the tune since the previous revision. The highest number will be the latest revision of the tune. The different stages are all at different revision levels depending on how many times Xhp has revised the maps in that stage.

Yep total Alpina flash. It switches gears to 6th by like 40mph. It's unbearable to drive if you gas it even slightly but you can see the MPG idle high, so it's basically a eco gas saver.

Sport and manual mode is awesome though!

I like stage 1. You sort of get the best of both worlds you get better MPG in drive, but when you go to sport mode or manual, the car goes from Dr. Jeckle to Mr. Hyde.

In what aspect? As in higher shifts? I feel like the AT is very jerky at time(mostly downshifts)so I've been trying to find a root

Not that i can tell, just because i baby my car. Stage1 is almost like stock to me. I did do stage2 and find that in D mode the car feels more responsive maybe because of the RPM's. Stage1 D mode felt like the
RPM was to low for the gear it was in so it felt sluggish to me.

I don't have jerky shifts. How's your trans & motor mounts, in terms of the condition they are in?

I find the trans flash to be better than stock, but I have rogue engineering trans mounts & Turner Motorsports Poly 60a engine mounts.

I Have MHD stage 2+

If you don't like the early shifts in D get the customization module. I have raised my shift speeds in D and lowered them in S. I wanted the car sportier in D and thought the S shift RPM's were too high for light throttle shifting.
My settings, D mode. It shifts into 4th at light throttle at 40 mph in D and 45 mph in S. This works for me because most of my driving is back and forth to work on 40-45 mph roads.

Stage 3 with all the rev matching turned all the way down, my car lurches way too hard on the 3-2 shift with rev matching.

I'm liking stage2 right now. In D mode it is doable and i drive mostly flat hwy roads for like 40miles to and from work. I'm going to try stage3 soon.
