e90 325i n52 fuel pressure inpa

Hello,

i have sometimes problems with long crank with my bmw 325i n52 06.
I have checked rail pressure with inpa.
Inpa allways shows constantly : rail pressure OBD : 610 KPA.
This vallue does not change when i start car, always 610 kpa.
All other values are shown correct and change when i start car.
It is inpa msv70 v1.35 Software.
Is this a problem with inpa Software or is the fuel pressure regulator out of order ?
There are no faults in msv70.
Any help appreciated.

Best regards

what is the milage on your car?
do you have any problem with acceleration? does your car stall while driving?
have you try to use any fuel injector cleaners?

Did you find the solution?

I have same issue. The gas pressure in INPA always shows 600 kpa even I unplug the fuel pump.

I know it's an old thread, but does anyone have a solution?
I have a n52 with same problem, inpa always shows 603kpa fuel presure. I tried realising presure by disconnecting fuel line to the rail, but it still shows 603kpa.

Could this cause low power?

Same with me, stays perfectly steady at 600 OR 603 KPA. I'm trying to resolve a huge performance problem on my n52b25, accompanied by long cranks in the morning. I'm 99% sure the pressure in the n52 fuel system should be around 5.0 (500kpa) bar, give or take 0.2, but so many of us getting perfectly steady 600 kpa (which translates to 6.0 bar) readings is kind of suspicious, it's either we all have this same problem somewhere in our system, or it's just the way it's supposed to be, despite the fact a 1 bar difference, from what it supposedly has to be, is huge.
P.S. I see it's a necro but there's a pretty recent reply, so figured i might chime in as well, since the case looks to be pretty curious.

There is no fuel pressure sensor on the N52. Only the N54 and N53 have a fuel pressure sensor.

You need to connect an external pressure guage to test the fuel pressure on the N52.. Not sure why INPA has this value in there. It's very misleading.

Correct, there's no sensor. The value is calculated by the DME.
