He's picking up 23-24 mph on the back end of the quarter mile, nothings wrong with the car. Driver mod needed and make sure ur 1st and 2nd gear boost levels were set at 100%

You're trap speed should be between 115-120 MPH.

Practice makes perfect, unless you have a boost leak

If you believe this car (stock) can run mid 13's then I need some sole searching. I'll post my slip soon.

This weekend I will be installing my ETS FMIC as well as my Procede. I plan on tracking the car in Oct so I'm excited to see what it will be able to do.

Trapping 115-120 tune only on 95 octane? You are absolutely insane. On a GOOD day he will trap 112.

Those 115+ traps are reserved for FBO with a minimum of 15psi boost.

Not as bad as the GT500 I saw run high 14's he still had a huge ego and wouldn't take my advice. Some people will never learn mashing the gas pedal does not = faster times. Just keep practicing and stick with my advice from earlier and tires will make a huge difference.

thanks lookin' at my 60's 2.0 2.2 mostly, yes I expect low traps on stock RFT.
i still have a bit of wheel spin to work on, got rid of the chirp in 3rd and 2nd..heh

im not getting to many runs at $25 per night with LOTS of cars 7- 10 runs'
many people suggest a drag tire/ slick to help the spin outs.. ill research some el cheapo tires for 18 stock wheels.
i was happy to finish the night beating a camero ss

Like everyone said, work on your 60ft times. You are launching way to high. Also airing down rft doesn't do much since they have such a hard sidewall. I hit 1.8 60ft times all day long on stock rft.

Something g seems off based on your trap speeds. For reference I had one shot in my bone stock MT car and ended up going 13.6 at 102. Driver mod as long as you don't miss a gear doesn't affect trap speed all that much. You should be in the 107-110 range at least. Once I put a dci and ran Meth I ended up reaching 116 trap speeds and going from my stock 13.6 to a 12.3. I would personally log the car and see what's up. Is your track at a high elevation?

LOL!!!

Well dude, you are right, you sucked! Kudos for you on admitting it! It takes a man to admit that. Esp for a BMW 335 owner lol. I am sure most ppl would blame the car or the other drivers were very good and what not, makes tons of excuses.

In fairness the SRT8 is a monster! Not much you could have done with that. With around 400+ for HP and TQ.

Well quarter mile is not for everyone, trying something else. Auto-X or Circuit... But at least you tried.

I tried quarter mile with my old car (RSX-S) and not my thing. I did ok, not good but ok...

Here is a great info about when to shift...
