Question 335i Exhaust/DP Mod

Hello, I just bought a 2011 335i as of Friday June 3. Before getting the 335i I drove a 1966 Mustang. It was so loud and I really miss something like that. I was looking into exhaust and of course Eisenmann sounds absolutely amazing, but are there alternatives? Also looking into a 4" downpipe. But all this brings up something else, when ordering my exhaust what MM size do I order? Does any DP fit any exhaust? Thanks for the help!

when shopping for a DP just make sure you get an E series N55, since the F series share the same engine. Same applies to exhaust except all E series N54/N55 will fit. If you're looking to save some money and want something that sounds great do some research on PE MOD exhaust. There are a few options and all yield the same results as the $1200 version.

Thanks Mikaeldarer! After looking into the PE Mod all I could really find was BMW's exhaust, could you possibly message me some links or something?
Thanks!

Please keep in mind there are no benefits when going with anything bigger than a 3.5" exhaust (downpipes) if you're going catless. The v-band at the turbo isn't quite 3.5" and 1000whp cars run 3.5" without any power limitations.

If you're looking for a catback you'll be limited to a dual 2.5" solution or a single 3" or 3.5" option like the one we offer

What is the length of your exhaust for the e90 n55? I read that the e92 is longer and if it is, do you know by how much?

You have to search for 335i pe mod. Here is a thread on it http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=739970
If you search for my posts in there you will see how I did the mod. Good luck!
