Possible to manual swap into 335is?
Does the 335is have a different 6 speed manual from the regular 335i? I can't seem to find anything related to manual swapping the is (considering it's a rare model)

Is it possible? 99% sure.
From what I understand it’s the same trans as the 335, but with a stronger clutch. The only way it would NOT be feasible is if the mounting points are somehow different on the 335is vs a regular 335. Because then you’d be stuck with having to find a manual out of a 335is—and gooood luck with that . I struggle to think the mounting points would have changed tho.

interesting....
with some research, 335is comes with GS6-53DZ and 335i comes with GS6-45BZ. Good luck with this journey! pilot bearings are different, and reading that the drive shafts are different lengths also Discussed here: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1386237
