Diagnose: Adaptive headlight failure
So I've had my headlights replaced cause one went out, and it worked for about a week before the driver side headlight got condensed inside. Week later bulbs no longer worked, and iDrive tells me adaptive headlight failure on driver side.
I bought a replacement xenon headlight ballast, correct me if I'm wrong, I just realized there's also an adaptive headlight ballast. I feel I bought the wrong one, but is there a way I can diagnose it before ripping off my headlight assembly? Anyone have a DIY to replace either of them? 2007 e92 white, driver side headlights don't work, adaptive headlight error on idrive. |

if you are handy and like having fun on your free time, pull the front bumper cover off (easier than it sounds) and remove the headlight assembly to dry it out. |

Thanks for the responses, I've had a mechanic dry it out, but one of the ballasts are fried. Sometimes on iDrive I see left low-beam malfunction, and sometimes I see Adaptive Headlights failure,
you guys think it's hid ballast or adaptive headlight ballast that's fried? |
