I took it for a test drive today... after flashing MHD stage 1+. I like it. I'm not ready to go to stage 2 yet because my downpipes are still in the box on the shelf. I'm going to have to get myself well psyched up to tackle that job... in the driveway... on jack stands. I don't think I can bring myself to pay someone else to do it though, I wouldn't feel right. Aaaannnndddd I don't trust anyone else to do it right.
And then I washed it. I think it looks pretty good for an '08.

Then because I still had the wash gear out I washed my truck.

Thank you although the 19's love tearing up my front tires on pot holes but I believe it is because the front shocks are totally blown. I'm debating on getting sport suspension and doing bilsteins all around.

Got these Koni Yellow installed at a well known local JDM shop last week with all new OEM hardware and kept the OE - M Sport Springs. Still breaking them in but, what an amazing difference so far.

Received 3/4 Koni Special Actives from ECS - last one arrives sometime in June, go figure…
Excited to install them, hopefully they provide a much more comfortable ride than the Bilsteins I have on the car currently without too much of a handling downgrade (for the street, anyway).

Also went to BMW and got the service history on my car from the PO. Water pump, LPFP, vacuum lines and VCG were all changed shortly before I purchased the car, which is a huge plus! Extremely relieved to find that the water pump was changed as that was the last major service item left to do on the car.

FYI, I found that the “trick” to getting the service history is to make sure that your car is registered under your name in the MyBMW portal before going to the dealer, that way it looks as though all the prior services were performed under your name...

Simple oil change and new wiper blades, once it cools down the car is getting a much needed bath and if I have time maybe some wax, but I doubt the wax will make it since I have to install a harness to my John Deere starter switch. I was drawing too much of a load and melted the plastic piece.

While waiting to start new job I am also getting back to finishing my E36 M3. It's been a languishing project. Started as a 5 speed swap on an S50 auto then started a collecting parts for an S54 swap and decided skip that I have a good low mileage S52 so that's where it lays.

The front diffuser on that green S2000 looks like a roadkill-scraping spatula!

Yea it's really rad in-person and a rather rare $36k kit that they flew in the designer from Japan to fit to the car actually.

Nice! thinking of doing the same setup, or maybe with a set of dinan springs.

Rear shock damping adjustment can only be done when removed?

Yep sadly that's true, how ever the rears are easy to remove, just 2 nuts and then pull it out. I recently installed Koni yellows as well with HR sport springs. The ride is much much better than when I have Bilstein B8s.

Thanks for reply Your right, at least they wont be to bad to remove.

What the ride height like with H&R's? Any idea if they would be similar to m-sport?

Yes, only way they are adjusted is to remove. Had them installed with a little less than half a full turn on the rears and so far so good. Considering a different spring but, the M-Sport with the extra damping has been great so far, plus I had a blown original shock up front and just needed to get rolling at the time lol.

N54 e90 randomly died a few months ago.
Finally got around to replacing the FPR today.
Started right up.
A line on the old FPR was not connected. I canít tell if it came loose while driving or when I pulled it out of the car.

I am thinking it came loose while driving and that was the result of no start, because the car had 0 codes.

But of course, you canít win a battle without the car fighting back!
Right rear window actuator failed as the rolled the windows back up and the door actuator has also given up!!!

I will address those issues and start on my rear heated seat mod.

I ordered the upper ET hose from FCPEuro and it arrived quickly, the right side hard pipe/hose connection has developed a slow leak. Unfortunately, the hose did not slide onto the ET (the two notches on top and bottom) so I pulled the connector/hose section from the old hose and installed it on the new one. Luckily, I was careful about the nipple on the radiator hose so there's that. Why does it have to be so difficult?
