Exclamation Bmw e90 10-2008 CIC replaced

Hi guys,

This is my first time posting, so if I did something wrong pardon me.

I bought a 2008 e90 318i, my first BMW but the navigation is dead. After research I found that the CIC breaks a lot on these cars so I replaced it with a coded new one. The problem is that it does give out lights from the buttons but I still have a dead screen. I tried replacing and checking all the fuses but that did nothing as well. I am completely out of ideas what to do next... anyone has any tips or things I can try?

Thank you all in advance!

Tim
