335 Xdrive power steering flush.

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could help me find where the power steering drain bolt is in my car? It’s a e92 xdrive. N54.

While there is a bolt you could theoretically remove to 'drain' the system, there's a much easier way. It's a recirculating system, so fairly easy to flush. Just use a turkey baster to remove the fluid from the reservoir, replace with clean fluid, and then either drive around for a bit or jack up the front end and do a couple dozen lock-to-lock turns (with engine on, so the power steering pump is running) to circulate the fluid. Rinse and repeat 3-4 times and you've replaced nearly all the fluid in the system!

+1 just suction out of the reservoir and refill. It should be about 250-300 ml each time. And you do that a few times with a short drive in between, turning the steering wheel lock-to-lock to clear old fluid in the rack chambers, then you can achieve a similar result without all the work disconnecting hoses.
