IMO these are 6W, as they look identical to the 6W racing dash ones

There is a thread of here somewhere with a picture for comparison but can't find it on my iPhone, I will try find it for you shortly.

Btw I noticed that when I first switch my ignition on these flash a few times, not a problem I don't think I just assume they do this when the first see voltage

I think it involves a different halo design. Once specifically design for LED's

I'd like to change mine, I have Xenons though so I'll have a look at the juicedup packages.......Or is it just the H8 bulbs I require? Didnt know you could get H8 options, thought it was all LED?
The H8 is for the 2007 - 2010 BMW 3 Series E92, E93 Convertible, M3 Coupe & Convertibles

No LED options as they didnt work properly.

These are designed not to cause errors, radio problems and are Plug and Play

Glad to hear they are doing the job guys.

Hi, how do you know what cable (colour red or black) is going to the black OEM socket? If you catch my drift. Is it only one way to connect to the OEM socket?

The plastic connectors only connect in one way, so you wont have a problem there.
Regarding the "other end" that physically attaches to the bulb holder....well I was lucky when I connected them in that they worked straight away!
But I am aware that quite often these LED's allow them to be wired either way round.

Yep, you're right. They can be connected either way, polarity isn't an issue.

OP, your lights look amazing with the upgrade! i was considering upgrading my pre-LCI halogens to LCI halogens after being suggested my a fellow forum member, and seeing how great yours turned out is really convincing me...now if i could just find some LCI headlights...

Hi, anyone who have done the upgrade, is your headlight Hella, like this one?
Mine is Hella and like the picture attached, BUT I cant get that little black AE box out. Anyone have an Idea? Tried to do the upgrade today but with no luch because of that litte AE box. Not the same design as the other members I guess...

Edit: Got it! Hella (04/2010) uses the same AE bulb as Xenon. So I had to remove the ekstra metal bracket around to make it fit. But is the bulb flickering because of the bulb check at start?

Anyone know how to fix the flickering?

This operation is completely normal. The flashing is the BMW lighting control module (LCM) testing the filament bulb to see if it is operational. It sends bursts of low voltage. Not enough to light the filament of the factory bulb but it is enough to light the low wattage LED.
