E90 330d - car won't start after replacing intake manifold seals

The car doesn't start after I took off intake manifold, cleaned it out and replaced all seals. it randomly throws a glow plug light briefly...but doesn't stay on.
Done a read from Carly and it isn't showing anything....

What do you mean ghost codes? when you say replaced, do you mean for new?? I just kept everything else....or do you mean did I fit everything properly! in which case I think so...two connectors on the ride side of the manifold...the connector on the back of the manifold...what else? what vac lines? I don't think I undid any.
I just checked all glow plugs and the very end one was wet...maybe from some cleaner I sprayed around the area but I've dried that now...could that have caused it?

All back together now for a second time...still nothing. It turns over but fails to start. Lots of random errors come up whilst turning over.

Hooked up to another car, it's started with a HUGE cloud of black smoke. Think it must be a combination be of weak battery and possibly plugs? Dunno.

Ahh I get you. Yeah I think you're right.
No worries. Well so far so good anyway, the real test may be in the morning after when it is stone cold. It might even be the battery as it's still on original..

Started fine this morning...not sure what it was but so far all good for now. I might just change the battery anyway for preventative measures.
On a side note, the car drives so much smoother with a cleaned manifold and new seals.

Did you have the swirl flaps out whilst you had it off or have they been done before?

Yep, they were done before. But just to be thorough, I replaced them anyway and sealed them in properly.
