how to get sirius xm radio?

Enhanced bluetooth allows for phone connection for calls and also allows for streaming of music and audio from your phone. With the right coding, you get your contacts on the cic menu and all of the album info from whatever you stream. The only thing I had to add was a bluetooth antenna and a mic and then did all of the coding myself. I already had voice command but had to add a second mic for phone calls. If you have the combox already, which you do, it is not hard to add and not expensive. Do a quick search on adding enhanced bluetooth to a combox. Lots of good info.

Bluetooth streaming will not work with the pro radio last
time I looked.

with Idrive the software level of the head unit and combox
must be at some specified level for streaming to work.

Worked on mine, just had to add the VO's and change production date to 03/11 along with the other coding.

It sounds like op needs his CIC patched and new FSC codes flashed. Then he needs to retrofit a combox.

OP, if you haven't already, use a vin decoder and see if you have s6vcs, control for combox. If you do, you already have a combox. Being a 2011 with cic, you likely do.

Question. My iDrive 2008 car shows SAT but it's not highlighted. I've installed the hardware. It didn't highlight SAT. Should I have it coded or do the switching fiber optic cable thing?
