Anywhere but auto tailor in Greeley by unc. My serpentine belt broke on my e92 335i 2 blocks away from them, had the car towed there and the owner told me I needed a new engine. He said he saw serpentine belt break and ruin n54 engines before. I asked how sure was he about that and he said 100% positive. "The only way to fix it is replacing the whole motor from bmw and I will give you a break on the price, $9000". I replaced the belt, cleaned out the oil pick up and replaced the oil pan gasket and front crank seal(just in case) 2 years later and still rolling.
Stay away from Auto Tailor!

1st post!

Anyone in Denver area that does coding? I've done the research, and bought the cables, but my XP machine is questionable (screen connection). And sadly, I've waited nearly 2 years after buying the car to disable the TPMS...

I replied in another thread that you can drive my car. I have done coding but it has been 6 or 7 years... I don't think I have turned that machine on in about 5 years! But I can try. Hmmm, I have dealt with the yellow TMPS light for years too.

Ha!

I have all the instructions for enabling the european Flat Tire Monitor, and removing the TPMS. I even have the cable, but my XP machine is questionable at best.

Yep, PM'd you about a ride. Thanks!!

Hi all,
I just purchased a 335xi and it is in desperate need of a clutch. Can anyone recommend a shop that would be willing to do it with customer supplied parts for a decent rate (im being quoted anywhere from $750 to $2250 for labor alone)?

Or if anyone would be willing to do a shadetree job for me, I am more than capable of helping I just currently have no tools or space out here. I used to build rotaries and subarus back in the early 2000s.

Also, I have been brewing beer professionally for ten plus years, so any help would get compensation + beers!

Thanks for your time regardless all!

Edit: near the Denver area, but would be willing to drive up to a couple hours honestly.

I haven't tried any shops, but I have been in touch with 335dlci via PM.
We were about to tackle a few projects, but I've barely driven anywhere since COVID, so it is still on the list.
