Will match any price and guarantee results better than any other shop. See the difference is i don't do it for the money i do it to help people out and be honest and share my training in both BMW's and the automotive field

Helmuts FCS in Mildord, CT. He only works on BMWs, and cleaned my valves last month. They don't do walnut blasting per se, but clean the valves properly. Charge was $500 and this guy loves BMWs as you will see if you go to his shop.
This guy is as honest as they come. Example is my warranty company was paying the bill for a new valve cover. Warranty company said they would pay $1,300. Indy #1 in Fairfield told me it was $2k job and I had to pay the difference. Helmuts FCS did the job and only charge the warranty company $1k, even though they committed to $1,300. |

Not even an exaggeration.. They are also one the fastest and most familiar with doing it in the area. Ive even watched them do 2 cars at once. You dont even see them advertise cause they dont have to. They are fellow e9x owners helping others out. I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else to get blasted. |

Personally wouldn't pay over $300 for a walnut blast. Drop the GB to around 250, I would be interested.
Quality wise, it's more or less all the same. It comes down to the right tools and time, time is money.

When I got it done last summer, i paid $250 met the guy in queens. Do a search around ny,nj,ct forum you'll see.
And it was nobody who has already posted ^. As Lshaw said I wouldn't pay more than $300 there are plenty of people around here on the forums that'll do it for that. Forget that GB for $400 lol. |

This is some of the shit you deal with when you go with the wrong place.... Broken intake with a shitty repair, missing bolts causing charge pipe to wear through AC line, aftermarket filter restricting flow, incorrect gasket (they added RTV to prevent leak) less then 10k miles with the carbon returning from an improper cleaning.
When you get it done make sure you choose someone that has a decent reputation. I'd offer my services but I can't take on too many customers right now. Ideally 250-300 is a great price for parts and labor. Intake gaskets and 25-50lbs of shells and a can of fuel rail cleaner. Last edited by Abax335; 02-18-2016 at 10:04 PM.. |
