CCC Pro Sat option unavailable

07 E90 with Nav professional version. Yesterday, after 5 years of ownership the unit rebooted itself about 3 times then ever since I am not able to select Sat on the audio options. FM, AM, Aux, CD are all white and selectable, but Sat is gray and not available. No clue what happens, have rebooted (both ejects plus volume) several times and nada....did see an SOS failure or unavailable error once since, not sure if related. No issue with Sirius XM, renews every May.....Help.

Your external sat box probably died. You can buy a new one for about $20-$30.

SOS w/ Bluetooth failure plus no Sat can be ether one of those boxes is down. The fiber is in series so when one goes, they all go. Sat(iboc), SOS(TCU), usb(MULF) and so on. Do you have the USB in the arm rest and does that work?

In the trunk, pull the green and black fiber connections one at a time and look for the red light on the fiber side. If you pull the sat (left side of the trunk) and there is one red light in the fiber, the signal is passing through the TCU correctly. Reconnect and do the same thing for the TCU on the right side of the trunk. If fiber going to TCU is dark, sat or something else is not passing the signal.

CCC must be awake for the test to work.

Post a pic of what is under the floor of your trunk if what I said makes no sense.

Have not used USB in arm rest, only Aux input as I can’t stream BT audio. Am using Aux to iPhone to get my Satellite for now...will check for the connections you reference here later today - thanks!

Update - did not check cables due to rain and kid soccer duties...but I can confirm I now have NO audio at all, nor is BT connecting to my phone. Sounds like the main AV amp/processor is down, methinks?
