AFE header news
I guess this would be for anyone who was considering AFE headers for there N52 but was hesitant due to members saying the high flow cats failed after a year or so.
Well I seen AFE was running a sale on them so I decided to place an order but they were out of stock for sometime I was told. The rep told me that they were moving to a new style cat for these headers and will be doing a production run soon. He said he would give me more details Monday when the exhaust rep returned. I wonder if it was due to the failures maybe and what the new style cats will be like compared to before. Anyways I will post on here what they tell me next week. |

Keep us posted! I personally don't run aFe headers but it'll be great for those who are looking to do so.

Afe contacted me today and I was told that the new cats are now a ceramic 400 cell vs I think 300 cell before. He also said since they do not manufacture the cats that they sourced a better manufacture of these new cats and should be a more durable set up.

At that point why spend so much to go from OE catted to 400 cell? The difference is so minimal at that point...
