Sorry to hear about this issue Sunny. I hope it's not something serious. You should call them to inform about the shaking. I'll pass the message along for you as well. I know that facility very well, and they've had very solid and consistent reviews from all customers. (yelp rated high as well) I know they have always used the best equipment available for mount & balance, alignment, etc.

But I just installed it on my car.
At first I thought everything is ok but as soon as I reach 80mph, the car starts to shake.
And the shaking increases as the speed increases from 80.
I did some searching and it may be that the tires are not balanced correctly.
So here I am at America Tires right now getting all 4 tires rebalanced.
Im so far from OC that driving back to Beach City is not even worth it.
Ill let you guys know if rebalancing fixed shaking issue....

My first impression is that the tires are wide and heavy.
But the good thing is that the sidewall is quite stiff almost stiff as runflat.
Im hoping I can make it to buttonwillow this sunday.:mad0260.

turns out rear passenger side was out of balance.
no vibration now. had to spend $40.00 out of pocket but had no choice.
now I can sign up for buttonwillow this sunday.

I wouldn't recommend them. They're the loudest and harshest tires I've had on any BMW.

i have 595 RS-RR's and they are awsome! the only real difference between the RSR and the double R's are the strength of the sidewalls, ive heard some horror stories of the RSR blowing a sidewall so i just got the double R's to be safe

No, not on same level as NT01 and RS-3, but perhaps in between. NT01 is competition only, not for hwy, with tw100. RS-3 are less agressive with tw200. RSR-R are advertised as tw200 but claimed to be tw140.

When you say pretty noisy, how noisy they are? Let say compared to snow tires. But you are in CA so probably don't have 1st hand experience.

I'm looking into these to replace my worn out RS-3 because they are $250 less and I go through new set annually.

Thanks. I was hoping to find some place between B'more and Atlanta that I could drive in and pick up a set on the cheap for track days.

more of a personal preference. Limited data and specs and doesnt appear wet performance will be any good for daily. May be ok for track i guess. Heavier tires as well.

But you don't have 1st hand experience! Limited data and spec? These have been out for a while. Plenty of info out there.

Correct no first hand exp, hence not condemning them. Qualified as personal pref based on what data i could find. Interestingly user above talks about wet perf.

These weren't designed for rain/wet so that shouldn't be discussed I think. They have been out in Europe and Asia and amateur track drivers praise them. Considering how mush they cost they are definitely worth it. No?
