Xtrons android head unit steering wheel buttons remap

Hello all

I have installed an xtrons android head unit in my E91. It is working well but I would like to remap the steering wheel keys. Currently the volume controls and skip track keys work fine, the voice command key is mute/unmute and the phone key seems to do nothing. The inbuilt app which is called wheelkey study doesn't seem to do anything. Has anyone figured out how to remap the steering wheel keys?
