Swap DRL H7 for an LED

I have a 2008 E90.
Has anyone swapped out the DRL H7 for an LED, something like these.

Not sure when the DRL are on the low volt setting (flash stalk not pulled) if the LED will have enough volts to make them light. Or if so what will they look like. Still yellow, or a dim white light. If low volts don't light the LED, I might just wire it at 12 volts all the time, because I don't use the flash function much at all.
If someone has done this I would love to see the pix please.
