Busted shock?

This might be a stoopid question, but I'll ask anyway. Is this shock busted? My car still sits level to my eye, the ride is still smooth enough and no noise from the rear.

Is the springs that car rides on. Strut/shocks can affect the right height be not much. From the photos that shock is definitely gone. You will need shock mounts too. Replace both sides.

Shock is gone. Replace in pairs or all four.
Eventually if one is gone the rest will follow.

Same happend to me, I got bilstein b8, and absolutely fell in love.
Btw replace the mounts too.

Yep, definately toast. PS shocks have minimal affect on ride height, it's mainly in the spring.

You should at least repair both rears but I'd do all 4 personally, it's the ideal way.

B8 on Sport springs is a great combo.
